Anything to do with Dinosaurs gets fast-tracked on Retina Burn, that, and Ninjas. Unfortunately, Paper Age, this amazing experimental animation only includes the former, but it is such a fantastically creative approach, we’ll let is slide this time. Paper Age was created by Ken Ottmann, to experiment with the techniques of character rigging, polygon reduction, depth of field and motion blur in Cinema 4D. It features a textured Tyrannosaur, stalking through an Origami landscape before meeting its demise on the cold surface of a tablet.
A simple idea sure, but its such a visually interesting means of experimentation.
